Our accredited Laboratory provides a variety of services and this statement applies to all services provided.

Purpose of collection and use of personal data

Our Laboratory collects, processes and uses personal information in order to provide better service. This collection takes place after appropriate information and obtaining your own consent and with the necessary procedures of the data protection authorities, where required. Our Laboratory collects personal information from you for the performance of organoleptic evaluations of olive oil, the provision of relevant certificates, the advisory support of industry professionals and the provision of training services. The types of personal information you provide to us may include: contact information such as your name, address, telephone number and email address, tax identification number, and other unique information such as service preferences, contact preferences, etc.  Our Lab generally only collects personal data that is necessary to fulfill your requests. Where additional, optional information is sought, you will be informed at the time the data is collected. Our Lab collects “sensitive” personal data only when the individuals in question voluntarily offer us that data, or when that data is required to provide the requested service, or when its collection is permitted by law. Please do not provide sensitive personal data to our Lab unless this is required for the purpose of providing the personal data and do not provide sensitive data under any circumstances unless you hereby consent to our Lab’s use of such data for legitimate service purposes and if you consent to the storage of this data in our Lab databases. Our Workshop does not sell personal data to any third parties and will not forward the personal data you provide to any third parties.
